RAIN!!!

This summer has been soooo hot, and it hasn't really rained since May!! So when we got a little rain a few weeks ago (and by a little I mean, VERY little), Carson just had to go out and play in it! We were outside for close to 2 hours :) He had the best time!

Fun with Nanny, Grandpa and Evan

The weekend after my birthday we got to spend some time with Nanny, Grandpa and Evan at the lake! Carson always loves going to the lake, but having Aaron's family there made it extra fun!! Carson is seriously one blessed little boy! He has so many people that love him like crazy and would do anything just to make him happy. I'm so glad we got to spend this time with everyone!! We can't wait to go back with them!

It has been way too long since I have made an update!! I feel like I have so many pictures to post, I just don't have the time or energy to post them! So here are some picture from my birthday...yes that was over a month ago! Aaron and I decided to take Carson to a little water park next to our house. He had a great time! His favorite thing was definitely the lazy river! He wore his water wings and just took off! He has LOVED swimming this summer! And thank goodness, cause with all the 100+ days we have had there isn't much else to do!

These are the only 2 pictures I got from the water park...I waited way to long to get the camera out. At this point Carson was tired and very ready to go!

4th of July Weekend

This year on the 4th we went to my parents lake house. Carson is loving the lake this summer! He loves to swim, ride on the jet skis, ride on the boat, and he even likes riding in the tube. It is so much fun to watch him have fun! I didn't really take many pictures, but here are some of my favorites. I am trying to learn how to really use my camera and have been playing around with the lighting, so these most of these are portrait shots of Carson...my favorite :)

When we got home we took Carson to see fireworks and then let him try out some sparklers (which he calls "sprinklers"). He loved them!!

Father's Day Weekend

I have a ton of pictures from the past month that I will post soon, but for now I want to post these from Father's Day. This is my new favorite picture of my boys...I LOVE IT!! I can't even imagine a better daddy for my kidos! Aaron loves Carson more than anything and Carson is just so in love with his daddy. He runs as fast as he can to the door every day when he hears Aaron's car pull in! I always knew that little boys looked up to their dads, but lately it has really become more apparent to me how very true that is! Aaron is Carson's hero! He wants to do EVERYTHING Aaron does! And I can't wait till this baby girl gets here...she already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! I am so thankful that my children have such a great man to look up to and learn from! Happy Father's day Aaron...thanks for being such an amazing daddy!

And Happy Father's day to my wonderful Daddy and Father-in-law! Thanks for being such great fathers to me and Aaron, and I think you both know how much Carson loves you!! I am so blessed to have such great men in my life!

My Big Helper

We have started to pull a few things together for baby sister's nursery and I thought it would be fun to include big brother Carson in on the fun! I bought a few blank canvases and some paint that matches the bedding, gave him a paint brush and he went to town! He had so much fun making these "pictures for baby sister's room"! He was so proud of himself and couldn't wait to show Daddy what he did! I can't wait to get the room all finished...pictures of that will come when it actually gets done :)

How is it possible...

...that my sweet baby boy is already in a big boy bed??? We moved Carson into his new big boy room, complete with his new bed, about a month ago...I can hardly believe he is this big already!! He knows that his "old room" is going to be for his baby sister and he couldn't be happier with the change! Other than a few nights of having to let him cry himself to sleep, he has done amazingly well! I am so proud of him!! So far his favorite thing to do is "get up on [his] big boy bed and be hyper!!" Where does he come up with this stuff???
