For your listening enjoyment :)

I just love his sweet little voice!

Bath Time

Bath time is always full of laughter :)

Snow Day (sort of...)

Last weekend we got just a little bit of snow! Not enough to even count, but Carson loved watching it fall through the window. We really got nothing to speak of though...about 30 minutes north actually got snow that stuck, but we missed out :( Hopefully we will have another snow day this year, and actually get to play in it!

Carson's look back on 2010

January: I took my very first ski trip! I didn't do much skiing, but I had fun in the snow!

February: I celebrated my very 1st birthday! And I also learned to walk...my mommy didn't know what she had coming :)

March: I discovered my love for being outside! Thank goodness I live in Texas and it is hot 10 months out of the year!

April: I got really sick for the first time :( The stomach bug is no fun at all! Mommy said I was feeling so bad one day that I fell asleep in the middle of the floor...something I had never done before.
But once I got to feeling better I loved playing outside in my new sand box!

May: I went swimming for the fist time this year! I wasn't a big fan of the cold water though, so I mostly played next to the pool instead of in it.

June: I went to my first Major League Baseball game and I loved it! I really liked the hot dog my daddy bought for me!
I also got my first haircut, which wasn't too bad because I got to ride in a yellow car, watch Toy Story and my mama gave me M&Ms to keep me happy :)

July: I got to go to the beach! I had so much fun and can't wait to go back again!

August: I went to Ruidoso and rode on a pony for the fist time! I loved it so much we went back the next day and I got to ride again :)

September: I went on many walks with my mommy and daddy at a park by our house. Going on walks is one of my favorite things to do!

October: I spent a lot of time at the new lake house! I really like to go fishing, which makes my daddy very happy!

November: The weather was still very warm, so I got to play outside a lot! Some of my favorite things to do outside are draw with chalk and sweep off the back porch!

December: Santa came to visit me! He gave me a Mickey Mouse tricycle and I love it! I'm getting pretty good at it!

What a great year I had! I grew a lot and learned so much! I hope you had a good year too!

Christmas Time

We had such a great Christmas this year! We got to spend time with both my side of the family and Aaron's which made everything perfect!! There are a ton of pictures here, so bare with me :)

Christmas with my mom's side of the family...

Jack, Lilah, Sam, Will and Carson

He loves his new train set from Memaw :)

Christmas Eve was spent at our house, just the 3 of us. I loved it! We didn't go to our Church's candelight service this year...there isn't any child care provided and we have learned from a previous experience that Carson isn't quite to the point where he can sit still for long periods of time. Maybe next year! But we had so much fun at the house!
Carson really wanted some "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake :) This is such a fun tradition that I am looking forward to doing each year with our kids!

After dinner Carson got to try on his new Christmas pjs :)

Checking out the presents

Reading "The Night Before Christmas"...this is something my family always did growing up and we have carried this tradition over to our little family :)

Telling us all about baby Jesus! He has loved learning the true meaning of Christmas, and we have loved telling him all about the birth of his Savior!

Then we read the story of Jesus' birth from Luke. Carson actually listened to most of it!

Santa Came! All Carson wanted was this Mickey Mouse Tricycle...I couldn't wait to see his face when he saw it!

Christmas Morning!!!
Very sleepy the next morning, but LOVING his tricycle!

Checking out what Santa left in his stocking

After we spent the morning at our house we headed to my parents house to open presents.
One of Carson's favorite gifts was this guitar from his Papa :)

We headed to Lubbock the next morning to see Aaron's family!
All the cousins

Cousins with spouses added

Riley

Hannah trying out Carson's tricycle

Riley gave it a spin too :)

Love them!

Carson just LOVES Hannah!

Hannah had so much fun jumping off the rocks...each time she jumped she would run over to me to look at the picture :)

So sweet!

All of the great-grandkids

Then we headed to Plains to open presents with Aaron's parents and Evan

The weather was nice so Carson got in some good practice!

He was really getting the hang of it!

What a great Christmas we had! We are truly blessed to have such amazing family to share it with!!
