Christmas Time

We had such a great Christmas this year! We got to spend time with both my side of the family and Aaron's which made everything perfect!! There are a ton of pictures here, so bare with me :)

Christmas with my mom's side of the family...

Jack, Lilah, Sam, Will and Carson

He loves his new train set from Memaw :)

Christmas Eve was spent at our house, just the 3 of us. I loved it! We didn't go to our Church's candelight service this year...there isn't any child care provided and we have learned from a previous experience that Carson isn't quite to the point where he can sit still for long periods of time. Maybe next year! But we had so much fun at the house!
Carson really wanted some "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake :) This is such a fun tradition that I am looking forward to doing each year with our kids!

After dinner Carson got to try on his new Christmas pjs :)

Checking out the presents

Reading "The Night Before Christmas"...this is something my family always did growing up and we have carried this tradition over to our little family :)

Telling us all about baby Jesus! He has loved learning the true meaning of Christmas, and we have loved telling him all about the birth of his Savior!

Then we read the story of Jesus' birth from Luke. Carson actually listened to most of it!

Santa Came! All Carson wanted was this Mickey Mouse Tricycle...I couldn't wait to see his face when he saw it!

Christmas Morning!!!
Very sleepy the next morning, but LOVING his tricycle!

Checking out what Santa left in his stocking

After we spent the morning at our house we headed to my parents house to open presents.
One of Carson's favorite gifts was this guitar from his Papa :)

We headed to Lubbock the next morning to see Aaron's family!
All the cousins

Cousins with spouses added

Riley

Hannah trying out Carson's tricycle

Riley gave it a spin too :)

Love them!

Carson just LOVES Hannah!

Hannah had so much fun jumping off the rocks...each time she jumped she would run over to me to look at the picture :)

So sweet!

All of the great-grandkids

Then we headed to Plains to open presents with Aaron's parents and Evan

The weather was nice so Carson got in some good practice!

He was really getting the hang of it!

What a great Christmas we had! We are truly blessed to have such amazing family to share it with!!
