Our Little Pumpkin

Being a Christian is a lot like being a Pumpkin

God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.

Then, He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.

He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc

And then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see!

I found this little pumpkin poem and thought it was so cute!!

We had a great day today! We took Carson to his very first pumpkin patch! It was a perfect day outside and we all had a great time!! We went to the same pumpkin patch last year, but it was so much more fun with Carson here! I can't wait to take him back next year :)

Our Big Guy loves to swing!

We took Carson back to the park this weekend. He LOVES to be outside!! I think he could swing for hours. I love watching him have so much fun! Here are some pics :)

Here is Carson in his very own swing! My mom got him one for the house and we hung it on the back porch. We spend a lot of time out there watching the doggies play!

Time to lower the crib :(

Carson started pulling up...so we had to lower the crib tonight. He isn't pulling all the way up to his feet yet, but he is definitely trying. When I went to get him this morning he was up on his knees looking over the crib! I have to admit, it makes me kinda sad :( I can't believe he is already pulling up! Where did the time go?!?

8 Months Old!

I can't believe Carson is already 8 months old!! He has changed so much this past month it is crazy! He can sit all by himself now...and he is so good at it! He has so much more fun playing now that he can do more than just lay there. And he started crawling last week...well it's just the cute little army crawl, but he can definitely move! We had to start baby proofing the house because anything he can get his little hands on goes right into the mouth :) It is so crazy how fast he is learning! We are having a blast with him!!! Here is his 8 month picture.
