God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then, He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc
And then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see!
I found this little pumpkin poem and thought it was so cute!!
We had a great day today! We took Carson to his very first pumpkin patch! It was a perfect day outside and we all had a great time!! We went to the same pumpkin patch last year, but it was so much more fun with Carson here! I can't wait to take him back next year :)
Kaitlyn has a book that has that same message about God and pumpkin carving - I love the comparison! Next year I'm giving K some vitamins before the pumpkin patch outing and keeping her oh so hydrated and we'll be there! :) Carson is getting cuter every single day!
