I haven't been doing very well at posting the daily pictures of Carson, but I promise I will catch up!! I have been spending most of my time the past few weeks working on this video for Carson's 1st birthday. I have known a few people who have also done this and I thought it was such a neat idea! Its 10 minutes long, but when you have over 10,000 pictures to choose from its hard to narrow it down :) I love going back and looking at the pics from right after he was born...he was so tiny!! Its crazy how much he has changed, but he still has the same sweet face :) I hope everyone enjoys it!

11 Months old!
I know I'm a week behind, but Carson is 11 months old now!! I can't believe that he will be 1 year in a few weeks! This year has just flown by! I love my little man more than I ever thought I would! He has changed a lot in the last month!
Here is what he has been up to...
He now has 2 teeth on the bottom, and 2 just cut through on the top! He looks so grown up with his big boy teeth :)
He is eating table food so much better now (I think the teeth help)! His favorites are grilled cheese, chicken, mashed potatoes, apple sauce, yogurt, bananas, and just about anything sweet that we give him. He is definitely my child!
He is still in size 3 diapers and has almost outgrown his 9 month clothes. Its so sad having to pack up all of the clothes he is outgrowing...but getting to buy new ones makes it a little better :)
He is still speed crawling and pulling up on everything. He can walk around the room from thing to thing, as long as he has something to hold on to. He can stand on his own for about 5 or so seconds. I'm sure he will be walking before too long.
He talks all the time! I love it!! He has a pretty wide vocabulary now. He can say mama, dada, dog, turtle, drink, and my favorite, bite. If you are eating something that he thinks he might want some of he looks up at you and says, "bite!" It is the cutest thing!
And the best thing...he is sleeping through the night!! It took a little longer than I thought it would but for the past week he has gone to sleep without crying and has stayed in his room the whole night! He goes down around 7 and doesn't wake up until about 6...11 hours of sleep! WooHoo!

A Year in Pictures
One of my new years resolutions is to take a picture of Carson every day...I know, I know, I take a lot of pictures as it is and its not like I need an excuse to take pictures of Carson, but I want to get one for each day of the year :) I think it will be a neat way to document all the little things Carson does during the day. I am going to do my best to put the daily pictures on here as often as possible! Here are the first ones of the year :)
Carson wasn't awake to ring in the new year, but he did have his very own countdown!
I zoomed in on the picture above...if you look closely you can see Carson's little tooth on the bottom!!
Carson's First Christmas
Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year, and having Carson with us this year made it better than I could have ever imagined! Christmas is so much better as a mom! And thanks to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Santa, Carson had a great first Christmas!! Even though he was a little sick we think he had fun! He was definitely more interested in the paper and boxes than his presents though :)
I took a ton of pictures (on my new camera...thanks mom and dad!!) Here are some of my favorites...they aren't really in any certain order.
It snowed here on Christmas Eve!! Carson was sick so he didn't get to stay outside for long, but we did get a few pictures :)
Happy Birthday Jesus cake, which Carson LOVED! It's so easy to get caught up in the decorations and gifts, but we want to make sure Carson always knows that Christmas is ALL about the birth of of Savior!
We went to Plains to see Aaron's family the weekend before Christmas. Here is Carson with his Uncle Evan.
Here are all of Carson's new toys. He is loved by a lot of people!! Thanks to everyone for making his first Christmas so great! It was such a blessing to have Carson with us this year!
