Monkey Business

I took Carson to Mardel today and bought him "Praise Baby"... his very first video :) As we were walking through the store, I picked up a stuffed monkey and showed it to him. He grabbed it with both of his hands and gave a big grin so I knew I had to buy it! Aaron wanted to name the monkey Mr. Bananas but we decided Rusty would be easier for Carson to learn how to say...

When we got home we watched the video and Carson loved it! The whole thing is praise songs with different pictures and colors going across the screen. We both love it...it's entertaining for Carson and I get to listen to praise music!

He has such a sweet little voice :)

The Great Outdoors :)

Carson is such a little boy...he loves being outside! He is very content to just go out back and sit in his bumbo :) I love his different expressions in these pictures. He is really starting to show off his little personality! I know I have said it before, but I just can't say it enough...I love this little baby!!

Oh, and I think the weeds in the yard add a nice jungle effect to the pictures :)

Carson's First Swim

So I decided to try out the whole blog thing...not sure if I will be able to keep up with it, but I am sure going to try!  Aaron and I both have family who we don't get to see very often, so hopefully this will be a way for them to keep up with all that is going on in the Cain house (mostly with sweet little Carson!)

So today I will just post a few pictures of our little man.  He is changing everyday! I absolutely love watching him grow, but at the same time I wish things would slow down.  A few months ago I didn't think my life could get any better, but having Carson certainly proved me wrong!  He has made us a family and we are completely in love with him!!

Aaron's Aunt Lisa bought Carson a swimming pool and we put him in it for the first time this past Sunday.  We only put in about an inch of water, and because Carson doesn't really like being cold we used warm water from the kitchen sink.  Hey, its a start!  I'm sure Carson is going to be a little fish someday :)
