Snow Day, for real this time :)

After a week of nothing but ice, we woke up to actual snow this morning! After breakfast we got all bundled up and headed out to play! Carson had a great time! His favorite thing was watching Aaron throw snow balls against the fence :) The snow started melting a little this evening but I am hoping we get to play a little more tomorrow!

Oh, and I will definitely be doing a birthday post for my big 2 year old!! I hope to have it done sometime this weekend.

Last day as a 1 year old...

I can harldy believe that Carson turns 2 years old tomorrow! I wanted to make sure and take a few pictures of him today...his last day to be a 1 year old. 2 seems so old to me- its like today is his last day to be a baby. It breaks my heart, but I know that he has to grow up, and he will ALWAYS be my baby!!

Although we have been stuck inside the past few days due to the sheet of ice that pretty much covers the entire metroplex right now, we are doing our best to have fun (but I think both of us have a pretty bad case of cabin fever!) I am praying that some of the ice melts so that I can take him out tomorrow for his birthday! More pictures to come of the special birthday boy!

PS: In case you hadn't noticed, Carson still LOVES to wear his hat, which isn't a bad thing today since it is 11 degrees outside right now!!
